FAQs
Do you see children?
Yes! Our team is always happy to see whole families, and we have the experience and gentle touch needed to help your loved ones feel right at home. When caring for children, Dr. Nguyen will keep a close eye out for potential developmental issues (including wisdom teeth) and provide valuable preventive care like dental sealants and fluoride treatment.
How often should I visit for a check-up?
Our Richardson team strongly recommends that children and adults alike visit our practice every six months, or twice each year. When a patient is struggling with too much sensitivity to tooth decay or periodontal disease, this frequency may be increased so that we’re able to provide the consistent support you need.
I’ve lost a tooth. What is the best way to replace it?
There are several options available for replacing one or more missing teeth at Brick Row Dentistry. If possible, we will strongly recommend dental implants, as this is the only solution that actually replicates the entire tooth and provides long-lasting health and cosmetic benefits. Some patients may prefer dental bridges, and full and partial dentures are also available in situations involving extensive tooth loss where fast solutions are needed and may be the best solution in some cases.
No two patients have the exact same dental needs, and no one service is the right choice for everyone. Dr. Nguyen will be happy to sit down with you and discuss your options in more detail during a consultation.
Can you improve how my smile looks?
Definitely! Dr. Nguyen’s practice offers a strong emphasis on cosmetic dentistry. Our available services range from in-practice Zoom and at-home professional teeth whitening for smiles that are stained/discolored to aesthetic-minded restorative solutions like tooth-colored fillings and all-ceramic restorations. We understand that your naturally beautiful smile is important to you, and we’ll always work as hard as we can to preserve its appearance.
Do you see emergency cases?
Yes. If you or a loved one is experiencing a significant dental injury or pain, don’t hesitate to reach out to our Richardson, TX practice! We strive to provide relief for emergency cases as soon as possible, usually on the same day as your initial call.
Do you offer weekend appointments?
Yes! We’re open every day of the week until six, as well as Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Our team understands that you and your family have busy schedules, and we’re happy to accommodate them however we can.
Can you send me the patient forms I’ll need to fill out before my appointment?
Of course. Alternatively, you can visit our new patients page and download the forms directly to fill out in the comfort of your own home and on your own schedule. This means less time spent in our waiting room when you arrive for your first appointment.
